There’s nothing better than a batch of cookies to warm the heart and please the belly.  You can make a batch of cookies anytime and share them with friends, family, neighbors, teachers, and coworkers.  Here are a few tips to make sure your cookies turn out perfectly.

  • Don’t make substitutions on your recipe.
  • Use ingredients that are at room temperature for a prettier looking finished product.
  • Always use a cool baking sheet, otherwise the dough will start to melt before you bake it.
  • Let your cookie sheets cool between batches.
  • Grease your cookie sheets with vegetable shortening or butter.  Oils will burn and be difficult to clean.
