Baking Tips

Baking can be more of an art form than a domestic duty.  There are lots of baking tips out there for beginner and advanced bakers.  Here are a few of our foundational baking tips to help you with the basics of baking:

  • Measure dry ingredients in a spoon or cup meant for dry goods
  • Measure liquid ingredients in a see through cup or spoon held at eye level
  • Use a thermometer for precise temperature measurements
  • Preheat the oven
  • Before you start baking, read through your recipe and gather the necessary ingredients and equipment
  • Follow your recipes exactly until you are familiar enough with them to make modifications
