Simple Cookies

Cookies are by far one of the most popular desserts out there but lots of people don’t want to spend a lot of time mixing butter and sugar and eggs together and then rolling them into little balls and waiting for them to bake into the oven. Fortunately there are plenty of ways that you can cut down on the time it takes to make cookies without sacrificing the good taste and home made feel of them. This doesn't mean you’re limited to going out to the store to pick up a box of boring pre-made cookies. You can make your own at home and still have plenty of time to spare. Plus you can do it without all the prep work that takes up so much of the time.

This recipe is incredibly simple - in fact all you need is three little ingredients. You’ll need two eggs, a box of white cake mix (or chocolate if you prefer) and a half a cup of of vegetable oil. All you have to do is mix the ingredients together well in a big bowl. To save time on the scooping of the cookies you can use a large spoon or (even better) an ice cream scoop. The ice cream scoop will allow you to make little ball shapes of the dough in a lot less time and soon you’ll probably be pretty good at it as well. You can also add other mixings into your dough just in case you want your cookies to be a little more home made or have a different flavor. You can put flavoring extracts of different kinds into your cookies or you can add nuts or chocolate chips or whatever else you might like to have in your cookies when you’re making them the more time consuming way. This makes your cookies really yummy without adding any extra work because all you have to do is chop up some nuts or dump a bag of chocolate chips into the bowl to make the fun and different. If you use white cake mix it can also be really fun to put m&ms in the batter because the color will spread out as they bake giving them a really unique look and some fun rainbow effects while still tasting like chocolate chip cookies.

Once you have all your ingredients assembled and mixed together you can scoop them out with the ice cream scoop which prevents you from getting your hands all dirty and makes it a lot faster for you to have little cookies formed without getting all dirty while you make them. Just remember to spray your baking sheet with Pam or a similar spray to prevent your cookies from sticking. Then bake your cookies at three hundred and fifty degrees for seven to ten minutes each. After they’re done take them out of the oven, put them on a rack, and let them rest until they’ve cooled. Then you can eat them and enjoy!

This is just one of many simple cookie recipes that can be a lot of fun to make if you don’t have much time. Get creative with them and have fun baking!
